Monteverdi Vespers (1610)

HMSC's "enlarged family" joins forces with the vocal group His Majestys Consort of Voices, directed from the organ by Gary Cooper, in a performance of Monteverdi's famous Mantuan masterpiece of 1610. If appropriate to your venue, we suggest that candlelight is effective in enhancing the intimate madrigalian character of this music.
